We are a local preliminary pageant to the Miss
Nebraska and Miss America Scholarship Pageant.
Young ladies compete for the title of Miss High Plains and Miss Lake McConaughy each year in August. These titleholders
will then have the excitement of competing for the crown of Miss Nebraska in June the next year.
